Dr. Sexson grew up in both Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. He received his dental degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He then completed his residency in orthodontics and masters program at Marquette School of Dentistry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Sexson is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and several local dental societies. He is also actively involved in the community's Children’s Dental Health program featuring the Give Kids a Smile campaign.

Dr. Sexson, along with his associates and staff, attend numerous workshops and seminars to keep abreast of the constantly changing aspects of orthodontic care and treatment.

Dr. Sexson is happily married with two awesome children, Gabriela and Gary III. In his spare time, he likes to play golf, play the guitar and spend time with his family.

When not in the office, Dr. Amante likes to spend time with his wife, Carolina, and one-year old son, Samuel.  On his "down time", Dr. Amante enjoys watching movies, dining out, learning Spanish and traveling. He also enjoys running and is currenty training with the Chicago Area Runners Association as he will be running at the 2010 Bank of America--Chicago Marathon this October.  To make his first marathon even more significant, Dr. Amante is teaming up with a charity called the Imerman Angels.  On off days, he enjoys playing tennis as well. He also likes to listen to music, any kind, and even plays the piano. Dr. Amante lives with his wife and family in the northwest suburbs and is enjoying the peace and serenity the area has to offer.
